What this website is for
The site shows our design work, garden styles and plants we like to design with, so you can get ideas and get in touch. It is for information and inspiration only. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote or a contract: prices, scope and schedules for any design work are agreed separately, in writing.
Plant information
Plant descriptions and photos are general information. How a plant grows depends on your site, sun, soil, water and care, and availability changes from season to season. Please keep in mind:
- Many desert plants have spines or sharp leaves, and some have sap or parts that irritate the skin or are poisonous to people or pets. Check before planting near paths, play areas or animals.
- Your homeowners’ association, city or water provider may have rules about which plants you can use and where.
- Ask a nursery or a professional before relying on the website alone for a planting decision.
We work to keep the information accurate but cannot guarantee that every detail is complete, correct or current.
Photos, text and design
The text, design, logo and our own photos on this site belong to Akmé 6 Designs and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You are welcome to view them, share links to them and use them to plan your own garden. Please don’t copy, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.
Some plant photos were taken by other photographers and are used under their licenses (for example, Creative Commons). Each one is credited, with a link to its source, when you open the plant. Those photos remain subject to their own license terms.
Garden photos are shown with the garden owners’ permission and without location details. Please respect their privacy.
Your garden wish list and share links
The ♡ wish list is a free convenience, saved in your own browser (see our Privacy Policy). We can’t recover a list that is deleted from your browser. Anyone you give a share link to can see everything on the list, including your notes, so leave out anything private.
Using the site fairly
Please don’t use the forms to send spam, advertising or harmful content; don’t try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site; and don’t collect content from it with automated tools in a way that burdens the site.
Links to other websites
Links to other websites (such as photo sources or Instagram) are provided for convenience. We don’t control those sites and aren’t responsible for their content or privacy practices.
